Meet the Team

PRESIDENT, NURI TOPBAS

Nuri Topbas comes from a family that has been creating and selling fabrics and textiles worldwide for well over a century… At the tender age of six, Nuri’s mother took him on his first shopping trip to Chanel and in his own words, he was “poisoned for life.” Nuri Topbas has a rich and extensive background in fashion, with decades of experience selling to and consulting for top clothing retailers and designers throughout the US and Europe. He also styles for runways shows and produces a men’s clothing line, Enze. After living in Southern California for over two decades, Nuri now considers himself nearly native. A seasoned jetsetter, Nuri also spends a good amount of his time traveling and has set foot in Europe and the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central and South America. His passion for travel has sparked his interest in creating a novel way to show off the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills he knows and loves that is traveler-friendly. Thus, Fun Day in LA was born!

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, JAMIE ANN HULTGREN

An up and coming go-to stylist for film sets and photo shoots, as well as an established performing artist, Jamie had an early passion for the art of collecting rare and timeless designer as well as label-free American and European fashion objets d’art. Her combination of creative ingenuity and communications know-how make her a perfect fit for devising the ultimate experience in style with Fun Day in LA.

SPA DIRECTOR, JAN BUNTON

Jan Bunton’s mother and grandmother were both nurses, so care taking and healing come naturally to her. But Jan wanted to approach health in a different way, a way that addressed the whole person and got to the heart of wellness.

After first being introduced to bodywork at the age of 19, she knew that had to learn how to help people feel as amazing in their bodies as she felt after that first session, which relieved both physical and emotional tension. Jan began her studies in the healing arts and sciences in 1999 at the Shiatsu Massage School of CA. In 2001, she took a yoga teachers training course with Ana Forrest, which influenced her work as a massage therapist. Jan has been a professional massage therapist for over 13 years now.

She has worked in various spas and wellness centers around the greater Los Angeles area as well as continues to maintain a practice at the Newport Wellness Center in Newport Beach, CA. She feels deeply honored to be doing the kind of work that she does.
